1. Why did you start this blog?
I started this blog to share my love of books with the world. I love reading, and it’s been a daily thing for me since middle school. Now, I want to share that passion with the world and talk about my books here. I have wanted to start a blog and share my passion for books with others for about 6 years now. That dream is finally coming true.
2. What are some fun and unique things you can bring to book blogging?
I can bring my perspective on the books I read to the community. I believe my perspective can be very eye-opening to people. Maybe you didn’t think much about a certain aspect, but I did.
3. What are you most excited about in this blog?
I’m most excited about sharing my passion for books with many other people like me. I want to meet new book lovers and make new friends on this new journey.
4. Why do you love reading?
I love reading because I can explore new worlds without even leaving my home (or bed). Who wouldn’t love that? Reading allows not only for learning but also for exploring new worlds across many different genres.
5. What series got you into reading?
The Trylle Trilogy got me into reading in middle school, with the help of my reading teacher at the time. I will always love those books.
6. What questions would you ask your favorite authors?
I would ask them how long the process is and how hard it is to get a book published. I would also ask them what inspired their writing, or maybe who inspired it.
7. What challenges do you think starting a blog will be the hardest to overcome?
Honestly, getting the word out about my blog will be the hardest part. I’m planning to turn this into a full-time job, which means gaining a lot of traction is a must.
8. When did you start reading?
I tried reading occasionally as a kid, but it really became my favorite thing in seventh grade when my reading teacher at the time helped me develop a passion for reading by pushing me to keep trying even when I struggled.
9. Where do you read?
I will read anywhere that is comfortable, my favorite place, though, is in my room with some ambient sounds on my TV.
10. What kind of books do you like to read?
I will read just about anything I can find. Mostly, I enjoy fantasy, young adult, middle-grade, and some horror/thriller. I also really enjoy a good mystery book.
