Jack and Annie’s very first fantasy adventure in the bestselling middle-grade series—the Magic Tree House!

Where did the tree house come from?

Before Jack and Annie can find out, the mysterious tree house whisks them to the prehistoric past. Now they have to figure out how to get home. Can they do it before dark . . . or will they become a dinosaur’s dinner?

This book was a super-quick, easy read last September. I have always loved these books since I was young. So, as an adult, I’ve decided to read them again as a whole series from beginning to end. This book begins with Jack and Annie playing in the forest near their home in the town of Frog Creek, Pennsylvania. The kids decide to climb up into the treehouse, where they discover lots of books. They find one about dinosaurs, and Jack says how he wishes they could go to that time. Suddenly, they get whisked away to a prehistoric time with you guessed it, dinosaurs. They get out, wander around, and end up discovering a dinosaur that needs their help. They decide to help him, learn lessons along the way, and help the dinosaur. All while making it back in time for dinner.

Overall, this book was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every minute of this short book. I highly recommend this book for children; if you’re an adult, definitely read it too. It’s short, quick, and perfect to read with your kids if they love adventures or are curious about different things from the past. It will also teach them life lessons as well.

That’s it for today’s post, library friends. If you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to like, comment, and share this post. I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I’ll catch you in the next post.
